Looking for a fun and educational experience for the kids this summer? Code Central’s week-long summer camps are a chance for beginner and experienced programmers alike to understand what happens behind the screen, control robots, or learn to mod in Minecraft!

With a variety of activities scheduled each day, campers work individually and in groups to learn new computer concepts, and then apply them to create exciting projects. A special presentation of these projects will be made to parents at the end of the week.

In collaboration with #code{central}, SNCA is co-sponsoring two Robotics Summer Camps!  This 5-day camp will utilize Arduino for advanced students and Lego Mindstorms for beginner students, and a fun filled week for all! Our experienced instructors will reveal a new side of technology to students through programming, better prepare them for more advanced topics of robotics in the future, and teach the skills needed to explore robotics at home. Mechanical and Electrical concepts will also be taught, ensuring a robust robotics experience.

For ages 7-17, The camp runs July 10 – 14, 2017, 9 am – 3 pm.

To apply for one of the scholarships (valued at $499.00!), please email youth.outreach@snca.us
