SNCA AND WGU NEVADA ANNOUNCE TWO $10,000 CYBERSECURITY SCHOLARSHIPS

On Saturday, January 7th, SNCA President Jonathan Davies joined WGU Nevada Chancellor, Spencer Stewart for a live broadcast on KTNV Channel 13 Action News. Jonathan and Spencer were announcing the launch of two new $10,000 cybersecurity scholarships. The scholarships, within WGU Nevada’s College of IT, are now accepting applications and are hoping to attract applications from a diverse spectrum. In line with SNCA’s goal of increasing the number of women in STEM related fields, Jonathan is hopeful that there will be a large number of female applicants. He is also keen to see applications from within local law enforcement. With WGU Nevada being an online school, it is an ideal platform for working adults to achieve their educational goals. The competency-based approach to learning means that students can advance at their own pace, fitting in with a busy work schedule. To apply for one of these scholarships, please  CLICK HERE or for further information please fill out the ENQUIRY FORM. Many thanks to Lesley Marin at KTNV-TV Channel 13 Action News.
